Continuing Education & Professional Memberships
Dr. Pruette completed a 2-year Advanced Education n General Dentistry through Keesler AFB and a 2-year Hospital Dentistry Fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center. He also completed the Triangle Area Dental Institute Implant Continuum. He is an adjunct clinical instructor of the Georgia Dental College at Augusta University. He was a diplomat of the Federal Service Board of General Dentistry. He is also a former Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologist.
Life & Hobbies
Dr. Pruette and his wife, Windy, have been married over 40 years. They have two children, Autumn, who is a pediatrician in Houston, and Todd, who is an attorney in Anderson. Dr. Pruette is retired from the Air Force. His hobbies include tennis, golf, trivia competitions and beekeeping.
Philip Melchers, DMD
"The specificity of dentistry focuses on oral health, but it also has an effect on the entire body. It gives me joy to be able to improve the quality of life for those with oral health needs."
Through the gifts that God has given me, my mission is to provide the best dental care for my patients. Through staying up-to-date with dental technology and practicing evidence-based dentistry (EBD), I will strive for the best care possible.

Life & Hobbies
Dr. Melchers and his wife, Ruth Anne, have been married for three years. Dr. Melchers and his wife have a son named Elliot. Dr. Melchers hobbies include hunting, fishing, and any other water sports. He also loves attending as many Clemson sporting events as possible, with his friends and family.
